Carsten Riisberg Lund has been announced as the new chairman of the board of directors (BoD) at HASLE Refractories A/S, Denmark. Mr Lund has undertaken more than 35 years of service in the cement sector. An Asian cement plant has achieved a lifetime of 36 months for the inlet chamber and riser duct with HASLE D59A. The 8000tpd cement plant, operating on coal and up to 25 per cent alternative fuel, has achieved an outstanding life of three years in its inlet chamber and riser duct using HASLE D59A. An Asian cement plant has achieved a refractory lifetime of three years in its cooler take off duct using Hasle Refractories' D52A castable refractory lining. HASLE Refractories India Pvt Ltd will be headed by Mr Sumanta Mukhopadhyay, who has more than 20 years of experience in industry.
